Driver - Class 5

About the role

This is a full-time position as a Class 5 Driver with Fluidex Transport Limited, based in Christchurch. As a Class 5 Driver. This is an autonomous role and you will be responsible for the safe and efficient transportation of dangerous goods

What youll be doing

• Operate a Class 5 vehicle in a safe and compliant manner

• Performing pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure the vehicle is in proper working condition

• Maintaining accurate records of deliveries, fuel usage and driving hours

• Providing excellent customer service and liaise with clients as needed

• Comply with all relevant road transport regulations and safety protocols

What were looking for

• A valid Class 5 drivers licence with a strong driving record

• Current Dangerous Goods endorsement

• Minimum 3 years of experience operating heavy vehicles in a commercial setting

• Excellent time management and problem solving skills

• Good communication and customer service skills

• A smooth operator who can work autonomously

• Ability to work 6 days per week
