Skills and experience needed:
· Have a relevant Level 5 Diploma or above, OR;
· Have at least 2 years’ work experience in the same industry orin a similar role
Tasks & responsibilities
· Determine and organize work tasks for all service staff for front office area
· Collaborate with managers to maximize occupancy, revenue and average rate while maintaining high service standards
· Review arrival information on a daily basis, VIPs, regular guests, long staying guests, groups, special requests etc. Follow up and approve upgrades and special amenities
· Liaise with the housekeeper to ensure that the room image is maintained and that the "Room Ready on Arrival" policy is adhered to
· Provide explanations and ensure compliance with safety regulations
· Supervise each area's operations and oversee the work done and suggest enhancements
· Maintain and manage attendance records and staff rosters
· Manage and resolve workers' complaints and grievances when required
· Occasionally fulfill front office and hotel reception duties as needed
