Talk to the Rightmove Team today!We are seeking a motivated and skilled Electrical Trade Assistant to join our team in Christchurch. This is a full-time position, offering the opportunity to work on a variety of commercial electrical projects within the Canterbury region.
Hours of work are generally 07:30am to 5:00pm Monday to Friday.
What you'll be doing
  • Assisting qualified electricians with the installation, maintenance and repair of electrical systems and equipment in commercial properties
  • Pulling cables and assisting the team on site where required
  • Ensuring all work is carried out to the highest safety standards
  • Maintaining a clean and organised work environment
What we're looking for
  • Some prior experience in the electrical trade or a related field
  • A keen interest in learning and developing your electrical skills
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities
  • Good communication and customer service skills
  • A commitment to workplace health and safety
  • The ability to work as part of a team or independently as required
  • Full class 1 licence preferred (restricted as a minimum)
  • Good level of fitness due to the nature of the role
