iRazor is seeking for Hairdressers to work at our Dunedin & Christchurch branch.
Key Duties:
Provide high quality and consistent haircutting services for our customers’ base with guidance from the store supervisor for complex hair styles. Quick haircuts without compromising quality are of vital essence to iRazor’s business philosophy and therefore you must have the right mix of speed and haircutting skills. Promote iRazor’s hair & beauty goods and services to customers. Work in accordance with occupational health and safety regulations per NZ standards
Key Job functions and specifications
• Perform men/boys’ haircuts for wide varieties of styles and trends.
• Perform women/girls’ haircuts for wide varieties of styles and trends. • Look after the customer payments/cash/Eftpos register manning
• Run daily sales summaries on Eftpos/Cash register
• Run daily reporting/filing in iRazor’s in-house queue and tracking system
• Tidy-up the shop, tools and salon equipment’s sanitation
• Occasional knowledge sharing with other staffs for haircut trends and improvement tips
• Mandatory timely submission of timesheet by cut-off date for processing pay/salary.
• Yearly submission of Employee Tools issuance and Assessment.
• Participate on Employer team building activities and quarterly regional meetings
Job Requirements:
At least 2-3 years relevant experience is required
Physically Fit
Good communication Skills
Maximum 46 hours per week with guaranteed 30 hours per week. The hours of work for this position will be as required to complete all duties and responsibilities. We operate on a daily basis between 9am to 6pm (Saturdays to Wednesdays) 9am to 9pm (Thursdays & Fridays). Normal working hours will be 6-8 hours per shift, 1-2 weekdays off per week on a rotational rostering basis.
