Our qualified Financial Advisers offer wealth management solutions such as retirement planning (including UK pension transfers schemes and investment), tax solutions, and investment opportunities.  We are seeking highly motivated and skilled individuals to join our team a Financial Adviser. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing comprehensive financial planning advice and solutions to our clients. This role will require the candidate to travel to clients within Auckland and outer regions, as required.

Responsibilities:

  • Building and maintaining relationships with clients to understand their financial goals and needs.
  • Analysing clients' financial situations and recommending appropriate financial solutions and investment strategies.
  • Managing and growing a portfolio of clients through effective client communication and proactive account management.
  • Travelling to clients within Auckland and outer regions, as required.
  • Keeping up to date with the latest financial products, services, and industry trends to provide the best advice to clients.
  •  Ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations and company policies.

Requirements:

  • New Zealand Certificate in Financial Services Level 5 essential.
  • At least 3 years relevant experience preferred.
  • Strong understanding of financial products and services, investment strategies, and risk management.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Proven track record of achieving targets and meeting performance metrics.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and act with integrity.
  • Knowledge of United Kingdom financial products and services. (12+ months experience in UK Financial services preferred).
  • Knowledge of New Zealand financial regulations and industry standards essential. 

deVere New Zealand offers:

  • Competitive salary and benefits package $64,000 - $85,000 per year dependent on qualification and experience plus on target earnings of $70,000 + based on performance.
