GEOPRO LIMITED, specialising in geotechnical services, including site investigations, Cone Penetration Testing (CPT), geotechnical reporting, and ground inspection. We support a wide range of civil, infrastructure, and construction projects. Now we have a vacancy for the role Geologist. This is a Junior level role.

Rate range: $28-$35 depending on experience , Full-time 30-40 hours per week.

Location: Auckland City

Position description

 Undertake geotechnical investigation including hand augering, machine drilling and
supervision, CPT supervision and drilling, groundwater monitoring.
 Installation of piezometer and groundwater testing equipment.
 Core logging based on “Field Description of soil and Rock”, NZGS, Dec 2005. Use of Core-GS
soil logging software.
 Geotechnical inspections including fill test, CBR test, foundation and retaining walls.
 Geotechnical report writing.
 Geotechnical design and assessment.
 High-quality verbal and written communication with clients.
 Other duties：
Duties of Employees shall include any work that may be required of them in connection with the
Employer's business and sister company – NZ Drill limited, provided the Employee has the
appropriate skills and/or qualifications 

Requirements:

• A Bachelor’s degree or higher in Geology, Engineering Geology, or a related field
• 1 year of relevant industry experience in geotechnical investigation preferred
• Practical experience with fieldwork including borehole logging, soakage testing, and ground investigation
• A full and valid driver licence
