About the Role We are seeking a Hardware Technician to support device repair operations and technical service delivery. The role involves diagnosing faults, repairing mobile devices, and assisting customers with technical issues related to smartphones and related hardware. This is a hands-on position suited to someone with practical technical skills and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced retail environment. Location: Rouse Hill NSW 2155 Salary: $76,000 to $80,000 plus superannuation Employment Type: Full-time Key Responsibilities 1. Diagnose faults in mobile phones and related electronic devices 2. Repair and replace hardware components including screens, batteries, charging ports, and internal parts 3. Conduct testing to ensure devices are functioning correctly after repair 4. Maintain accurate records of repairs and service activities 5. Assist customers with basic technical queries and service updates 6. Handle device intake, assessment, and job tracking 7. Ensure repairs are completed within agreed timeframes 8. Maintain tools and equipment in good working condition 9. Follow workplace procedures and safety requirements 10. Support overall store operations where required Skills & Experience 1. Certificate III or IV in Electronics, Telecommunications, or a related field (or equivalent experience) 2. Minimum 1 to 2 years of relevant experience in device repair or hardware servicing 3. Strong understanding of mobile phone components and repair techniques 4. Ability to diagnose and resolve hardware issues efficiently 5. Good attention to detail and problem-solving skills 6. Ability to work in a customer-facing environment 7. Strong communication and teamwork skills 8.
