PPG is an American Fortune 500 company and global supplier of paints, coatings, and specialty materials. We are currently seeking an Inventory Staging Operators to join the team at our Auckland manufacturing plant and be responsible for setting up, operating, maintaining, and troubleshooting manufacturing production equipment.

Responsibilities

• The accurate receipt and putaway of raw materials
• Picking and pre-batching of raw materials for production batches
• Operate equipment safely and effectively for inventory processing
• Ensure that equipment is maintained in good and safe working condition
• Inspect equipment to identify any replacements, malfunctions, and repairs
• Perform regular housekeeping duties to ensure raw materials are kept in excellent condition
• SAP processing of stock between stock locations
• Evaluate equipment performance and recommend improvements
• Operate forklifts to pick and transfer stock between warehouse and working area
• Follow safety procedures and company policies for equipment operation
