Arashi Kushiyaki Bar is looking for a full-time Japanese Cook to join their team in Wellington.
Ideal candidate must have the followings:
1 year relevant experience or a level 2 or above relevant qualification
Able to work on weekends and work overtime
Full commitment is required.
Job Responsibilities:
Preparing fresh ingredients for Japanese ramen and other dishes.
Ensuring all restaurant Japanese Cuisine recipes and preparation requirements are met.
Controlling the temperatures, seasonings and flavors are to specification.
Ensuring the quality of food and the size of food proportions.
Ensures that all food is attractively presented at all times.
Prepares and cook Japanese food to meet special dietary requirements.
Ensuring the storage of foods and others meet restaurant and statutory Health and Safety requirements.
Updating and developing new cooking techniques and procedures in accordance with the new menu.
Maintaining a strict level of hygiene in the kitchen workstations.
Additional duties and responsibilities related to the job may be assigned as required.
