**Mō te tūranga | About the role**We’re looking for a visionary **Lead Software Engineer** to drive the evolution of our enterprise-wide strategic platform. This is more than a technical role—it’s a leadership opportunity to shape architecture, inspire teams, and deliver transformative solutions using Microsoft Power Platform, Dynamics 365 (D365) and Azure.As a key technical leader, you’ll set the direction for scalable, resilient systems across a modern tech stack including Azure, JavaScript/TypeScript, and front-end frameworks. You’ll foster collaboration across Agile squads, champion engineering excellence, and mentor the next generation of developers.**Ōu Pūkenga | About you*** A proven track record of leading high-performing engineering teams with clarity and purpose* Strategic thinking in defining architecture and development best practices* Ownership of the full development lifecycle—from planning to delivery—with a focus on performance and reliability* A collaborative mindset, working seamlessly with design, QA, product, and engineering leadership* Passion for clean, maintainable, and well-tested code* Experience implementing automation frameworks and conducting rigorous code reviews* Confidence in leading technical discussions and aligning squads to strategic goals* A commitment to continuous improvement, modernisation, and DevOps excellence* A drive to simplify and accelerate delivery of resilient software* **8+ years of software engineering experience**, with a strong focus on enterprise applications* Proven expertise in **Power Platform** and **Dynamics 365 (D365)**, including model-driven apps, plugin development, and PCF.* Demonstrated experience **leading software engineering teams**, including mentoring, code reviews, and technical direction.* Deep knowledge of **Azure PaaS components** (Logic Apps, Functions) and integration practices.* Proficiency in **C#, JavaScript/TypeScript**, Git, Visual Studio, and VS Code.* Experience with **Azure DevOps** and CI/CD pipelines.* Familiarity with **AI tools** such as AI Foundry, Azure Document Intelligence or Power Platform AI Builder.* Bonus: Experience with **React, TypeScript, and/or VueJS.**You’ll also be confident in:* Leading solution design and technical delivery* Driving code quality and engineering best practices* Troubleshooting and resolving complex production issues* Creating and maintaining clear, comprehensive documentation*We welcome interest from qualified overseas candidates.
