Overview

Logistics Administrator

The role is based in Christchurch and offers a collaborative and dynamic team environment with opportunities to share knowledge and best practices within the logistics industry. It provides a fast-paced and varied role with opportunities for long-term career advancement, and a hybrid working model after training.

Responsibilities

  • Release domestic orders and confirm export containers
  • Run daily uplift sheets and email to transport/enter jobs into transport portal
  • Maintain daily trackers including inbound pallets and vehicle movements
  • Verify inbound/outbound product temperatures and maintain freezer temperature logs
  • Liaise with vendors/engineers for maintenance and repairs
  • Manage, plan and execute South Island export orders
  • Maintain accurate records and reports, including data entry and spreadsheet management
  • Provide administrative support to the logistics team as required

Qualifications

  • Administrative experience, preferably in a logistics or transport environment
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel
  • Basic understanding of logistics and export knowledge (desirable)
  • Highly organised and efficient, with excellent time management skills
  • Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team
  • Quick learner with excellent problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
