Job Description: (overall introduction of the job)

This job is required to perform: (specific duty tasks)

• Develop, implement, and monitor warehouse and distribution strategies, policies, and procedures to optimise storage and product flow.
• Plan and organise the transport, storage, and delivery of goods to meet customer and operational requirements.
• Ensure inventory levels are maintained at optimal quantities to minimise costs while meeting demand.
• Prepare and manage warehouse budgets, controlling costs related to freight, storage, and staffing.
• Review supplier performance and ensure logistics partners comply with company policies and service expectations.
• Liaise with procurement, sales, and production teams to align supply and demand forecasts and ensure smooth product flow across departments.
• Supervise and direct warehouse staff, including allocation of duties, training, and performance evaluation.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, industry standards, and legislative requirements relating to workplace health and safety, transport, and storage.

Job requirement: applicant must meet following requirement to apply for this job

• At least three years’ experience on a relevant position OR
• NZQF diploma Level 5 in relevant major or Above
