JOB DESCRIPTION

Location: 3/94 Rosedale Road, Rosedale, Auckland, 0632
Position: Hairdresser (Full-time, Permanent)
Number of positions: TWO (2)
Working Hours: Full-time: minimum 30 hours per week (up to 42.5 hours)
Working hours: 10:00am – 7:00pm, Tuesday to Sunday
Must be available to work on Saturdays and Sundays.

Hourly pay rate: $28-$34, depending on experience and skills

((Duties and Responsibilities))
Consult with clients and provide professional advice on hair care, beauty products, and suitable hairstyles.
Perform shampooing, conditioning, scalp scrub treatments, blow drying, iron styling, cutting, colouring, bleaching, highlighting, straightening, and styling.
Especially, perform advanced chemical services for Asian hair types, including:
Straightening perm
Volume straightening
Iron perm
Digital perm
Setting perm
Cold perm
Advanced colouring techniques
Operate and maintain salon equipment required for digital perm, setting perm, straightening, and other chemical treatments.
Maintain a high standard of hygiene and cleanliness in the salon, including sterilising tools and ensuring work areas are presentable
Assist with basic salon operations such as managing appointments and processing customer payments.
((Prerequisites))
Minimum 2 years’ full-time professional experience as a Hairdresser, with proven skills in advanced chemical services for Asian hair types
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Experience with Korean and Asian hairstyles preferred
(training can be provided for specific styles)
Strong customer service and communication skills
Must be able to communicate in English - IELTS 4.0 or above
