●        Location: AUCKLAND

●        Job type: Full-time Permanent

●        Number of positions for this job: up to 2

●        Pay rate: from $30-$35 per hour

●        Days required: 5-6 days/week

●        Hours per week: min 30, max 50 hours per week

Responsibilities and Accountabilities:

●            Diagnosing vehicle issues: Identifying and diagnosing mechanical, electrical, and other vehicle problems through various methods such as visual inspection, computer diagnostics, and test drives. 

●            Repairing and maintaining vehicles: Performing necessary repairs and maintenance tasks on vehicles, including engine tune-ups, brake

●            adjustments, oil changes, and tire rotations, to ensure proper functioning and longevity.

●            Conducting inspections: Inspecting vehicles for safety and performance issues, following manufacturer guidelines and regulatory standards, and recommending repairs or replacements as needed. 

●            Using tools and equipment: Utilizing a variety of hand and power tools, as well as diagnostic equipment, to effectively diagnose problems and perform repairs on vehicles.

●            Keeping records: Maintaining accurate records of all repairs, services, and parts used, including documenting diagnostic findings, repairs performed, and customer interactions, to ensure accountability and facilitate future maintenance. 

●            Providing customer service: Communicating with customers to understand their vehicle concerns, explaining repair options and costs, and providing excellent customer service to ensure satisfaction and repeat business

Job Requirement

●         At least two-years relevant prior experience or substitute with a formal qualification

●         A “can-do” attitude

●         Have an eye on details

●         Self-motivated

●         Clean non-criminal record
