We are hiring for PNL Painting Limited, a professional painting company based in Blockhouse Bay, Auckland. We provide high-quality interior and exterior painting services for both residential and commercial clients. With an increasing number of projects across the Auckland region, we are looking for skilled Painters to join our growing team.

Key Responsibilities include:   

• Reading plans and preparing surfaces by cleaning, sanding, and repairing holes or cracks• Mixing and applying paints, stains, varnishes, and other finishes using brushes, rollers, or sprayers• Applying undercoats and finishing coats to walls, ceilings, and exterior surfaces• Erecting scaffolding or ladders to reach high places as needed• Hanging wallpaper and other wall coverings when required• Ensuring all work is completed to a high-quality finish and client specifications• Cleaning and maintaining painting tools and equipment• Following all health, safety, and environmental protection regulations

Requirements for the applicants:

• Minimum 2 years of relevant work experience as a painter OR a recognised painting trade qualification• Proficiency in using brushes, rollers, and spray equipment• Familiarity with a range of paint types, surface preparation, and finishing techniques• Ability to work at heights and in different weather conditions• Physically fit and capable of manual work• Reliable, detail-oriented, and able to meet project deadlines• Valid driver’s licence and personal transport preferred• Ability to attend an onsite interview preferred• Must be able to work independently and in a team• Priority will be given to New Zealand citizens and residents.
