Prestige Baking Auckland is urgently looking for a qualified and experienced Personal Assistant to the Director. You will be required to perform the following key duties and responsibilities:

  1. Act as the Director’s liaison point with staff, wholesale customers, distributors and external suppliers, and follow up on operational instructions and management decisions.
  2. Manage the Director’s professional calendar, including meetings, appointments, supplier visits, customer discussions and other business commitments.
  3. Screen and review incoming calls, emails and correspondence addressed to the Director, identify urgent matters and prepare summaries or draft responses where required.
  4. Research, compile and prepare correspondence, briefing notes, reports, memoranda, meeting papers and other routine business documents for the Director.
  5. Maintain organised and confidential electronic and physical records, including wholesale distribution, supplier, employment, financial summary and general business administration files.
  6. Arrange and support management meetings by preparing agendas, collating information, recording key discussion points or minutes, and monitoring follow-up actions.
  7. Compile operational and financial information requested by the Director to assist with business performance monitoring, cost review, purchasing planning and operational decisions.
  8. Coordinate routine administrative workflows and, where applicable, guide clerical or administrative support staff to ensure filing, correspondence, records and deadlines are managed properly.

A tertiary qualification in Management or Business Administration is required, or at least 2 years of relevant work experience.

This is a full-time (mimimum 30 hours per week) and permanent position with a wage between $28 and $32 per hour.
