About the Role
Rotational Physiotherapist 1.0 fte
We are seeking a NZ Registered Physiotherapist who is keen to gain or further their hospital experience by working in a rotational role
Rotations are 6 monthly and include.
Medical
Orthopaedics/Surgical
ICU
Inpatient Rehabilitation
Musculoskeletal Outpatients
Rural Hospital (Inpatients and Community)
This role includes rostered weekend work and on call (after a period of training/orientating to relevant competencies)

About the Team/Service/ Location
This work occurs within the Physiotherapy department at Taranaki Base Hospital or Hawera hospital or can occur in community locations.

About you
You will need to have:
Current NZ Physiotherapy Annual Practising Certificate
Valid work Visa for NZ and Drivers licence
Inpatient or Hospital experience/placements
A passion for teaching self-management strategies
Problem solving approach
Excellent cultural knowledge & practice Te Reo speaking is an advantage
Excellent communication skills to work with other staff and patients
Excellent computer skills
Desire for ongoing self-directed learning
Working visa/NZ residence (as appropriate)
