We are looking for a hardworking candidate for the role of Restaurant Manager in Omamaru. It is a full-time permanent role with a minimum guaranteed 30 hours of work per week, and we are looking for someone whom we can rely on.

The candidate must be able to work but not limited to: Run smooth operations. Juggling great service, training and rostering your team, planning for future growth, is all in a day’s work Must be able to plan the menus to be served in the restaurant in consultation with the chefs. Organize events and functions, make proper plans and arrangements for the gathering Manage purchases and pricing with the suppliers and carefully prepare a budget for optimal profit Maintain accurate records of stock levels Manage financial transactions of the restaurants and maintain good record- keeping Having discussions with the customers to assess if the customers are satisfied with the meals and services provided Value customer feedback and develop strategies for continuous improvements Assuring that the dining facilities meet the health and safety regulations Ensure that everything is clean, functional and of suitable/presentable appearance. Select and train the waiting and kitchen staff along with supervising the staff. May be required to take the reservations/bookings. Must greet the guests and assist them in taking orders when required.
