We are seeking a dynamic Restaurant Manager to lead our front-of-house operations for our upcoming restaurant location and deliver a flawless dining experience that complements our premium culinary offerings. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in restaurant operations, a passion for hospitality, and the ability to inspire and manage a team to maintain the highest standards of service and efficiency. This role offers a minimum guaranteed 30 hours per week.

We offer a modern dining experience that blends traditional Indian flavours with contemporary presentation. Our restaurant caters to dine-in, takeaway, catering, and special events, attracting both local and international guests seeking genuine Hyderabadi hospitality. We are expanding to Queenstown!
Key Responsibilities:
Operational Management:
Plan and control the Restaurant operations, and ensuring smooth service across lunch and dinner shifts.
Manage staff rosters, shift planning, and labour costs efficiently.
Maintain compliance with food safety, liquor licensing, and health & safety regulations.
Ensure cleanliness, ambiance, and presentation of the restaurant meet brand standards.
Customer Experience:
Ensure all guests receive professional, attentive, and personalized service.
Handle customer feedback and resolve issues promptly and effectively.
Uphold Vani’s Kitchen’s premium image and service philosophy.
Staff Leadership & Training:
Recruit, train, and mentor front-of-house team members, including supervisors and wait staff.
Conduct regular team briefings and performance reviews.
Foster a culture of teamwork, accountability, and continuous improvement.
Financial & Administrative Duties:
Control budgeting, revenue tracking, and cost control measures.
Monitor daily sales, cash handling, and POS systems.
Manage supplier relationships, stock ordering, and inventory control.
Marketing & Events Coordination:
Support new promotions, menu launches, and seasonal campaigns.
Ensure consistent execution of brand identity across all guest touchpoints.
Skills & Attributes:
Strong leadership and interpersonal skills.
Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.
Professional communication and problem-solving approach.
A passion for premium dining and genuine hospitality.
High attention to detail in presentation, service, and guest experience.
Qualifications & Experience:
Minimum 2 years’ experience in a food industry or similar leadership role (preferably fast paced business)
Strong knowledge of Indian or multicultural cuisines preferred.
Understanding of POS systems, inventory management, and staff rostering.
LCQ and Manager’s Certificate (or willingness to obtain).
