About The Role:

We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Test Engineer to join our QA team. This role is primarily responsible for ensuring the quality and reliability of ServiceNow deliverables, while also supporting the wider business solution platform.

Your contribution will go beyond hands-on testing. You will play a key role in promoting testing best practices, driving governance, and uplifting testing processes across delivery teams. By guiding, coaching, and providing oversight, you will embed quality principles into the development lifecycle, while still supporting the execution of critical tests for ServiceNow and other platforms when required.

Experience with ServiceNow configuration testing and the Automated Test Framework (ATF) is an advantage, but just as important is a willingness to learn and grow your expertise in ServiceNow.

Key Responsibilities:

• Ensure the quality of ServiceNow changes and related platform deliverables.
• Provide governance and oversight of the testing lifecycle, ensuring consistency with QA standards.
• Act as a quality advocate, advising on test design, automation, and risk-based testing.
• Test ServiceNow configurations, workflows, and automation using ATF.
• Create and manage effective test data across multiple environments.
• Work with the QA guild to define and deliver cohesive, end-to-end testing across the business solution platform.
• Champion the effective use of testing tools and frameworks.

Skills and Experience Required:

Within the ServiceNow team, you will take responsibility for ensuring test quality through the guidance and governance of testing practices. By setting clear standards, coaching team members, and providing oversight, you will help ensure that testing is robust, consistent, and aligned to best practice. Your leadership will embed quality principles into the delivery lifecycle while ensuring confidence in ServiceNow deliverables.

As part of the wider QA chapter, you will contribute to shaping and refining shared quality practices across multiple platforms. This includes promoting consistent approaches, driving maturity in test processes, and collaborating with other QA specialists to deliver cohesive, end-to-end testing across the organisation.

You will also need:

• A relevant Tertiary Qualification, ISTQB certification, or equivalent experience.
• Extensive experience in software testing, with a strong understanding of testing methodologies and tools.
• Experience in exploratory testing, performance testing, and test automation.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
• ServiceNow or Telco experience is beneficial but not compulsory.
