We're looking for a practical, hands-on team leader to step into a full-time management role overseeing delivery operations across the Waikato and Bay of Plenty region. Whether you're ready for your first formal management position, or already have people leadership experience in logistics or operations, this is a chance to lead with support, structure, and growth.

ABOUT THE ROLE

As a Service Delivery Manager, you'll lead the day-to-day mail delivery operation for Hamilton and our wider network of satellite sites, including Tauranga and Rotorua. You'll report to the North Island Operations Manager and manage a team of Team Leaders, Coordinators, and delivery staff.

You'll split your time between the main branch and your regional sites, making sure our service runs smoothly, efficiently, and safely, every day. This is an on-site position.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Leading daily mail sorting and delivery across multiple branches
  • Coaching Team Leaders and frontline teams to meet performance targets
  • Tracking KPIs like delivery accuracy and run efficiency
  • Overseeing H&S compliance, vehicle checks, and site safety
  • Supporting new hire onboarding, training, and certification
  • Managing fleet and route optimisation (including run mapping and redesigns)
  • Reviewing rosters, approving payroll inputs, and managing costs to budget
