With strong and increasing market demand for our services, and ongoing growth in the range and volume of work undertaken, we are seeking an experienced Service Manager to support daily operations, oversee service delivery, and assist with the continued growth and development of the business.


About the Role

As the Service Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing daily service operations, managing field staff and contractors, and ensuring all jobs are delivered on time, within scope, and to a high standard. This is a hands-on leadership role that requires strong coordination skills, customer focus, and operational discipline.

  • Hourly rate : NZD $33-$35 per hour, based on experience.
  • Guaranteed 30–40 hours per week. This may include work on weekends as required.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage and coordinate daily service operations across multiple jobs, overseeing the delivery of multi-trade services to residential and commercial clients.
  • Develop, review, and implement service policies, programs, and procedures relating to customer relations and the delivery of goods and services, supporting consistent and high-quality service delivery.
  • Liaise directly with clients to understand service requirements, manage after-sales service follow-up, and ensure customer satisfaction across the company's property maintenance services.
  • Establish, monitor, and ensure compliance with company quality standards, health and safety requirements, and applicable regulatory obligations across all service operations.
  • Monitor job progress, assess and address operational issues, and manage service escalations in line with company service standards and client expectations.
  • Review and improve service processes, operational efficiency, and resource allocation to support effective service delivery and business performance.
  • Collaborate with management, administration, and sales teams to support business growth.
  • Lead and develop service teams by providing direction, regular performance feedback, and input into recruitment, selection, and workforce planning.

Requirements
  • A qualification equivalent to a NZQF Diploma Level 6 or above, in Business Management, Business Administration or a closely related field
  • At least two years of relevant work experience in customer service management, facilities management, or a related field
  • Strong leadership and people management skills
  • Excellent communication and customer service abilities
  • Ability to manage multiple jobs in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong problem-solving and organisational skills
