Position Overview: We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic full-time Store Manager to join our our store in the Auckland region with min guranted 30 hours per week at $28-38 per hour
This role is perfect for someone with a passion for customer and sales and have strong understanding of retail operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan, organise, direct and coordinate the daily operations of the retail store specialising in mobile phones, computers, accessories and electronic device repair services.
- Develop and implement sales strategies to achieve revenue, profitability and customer service targets.
- Manage store budgets, monitor financial performance, prepare sales reports and control operational expenses.
- Recruit, train, supervise and evaluate sales and repair staff, ensuring high standards of performance and customer service.
- Prepare staff rosters, allocate duties and oversee employee attendance and productivity.
- Manage inventory levels, purchasing, stock ordering, receiving, stock control and stocktakes to ensure adequate product availability.
- Negotiate with suppliers and distributors regarding product procurement, pricing, promotions and warranty arrangements.
- Oversee the sale of mobile phones, computers, accessories and related electronic products, ensuring compliance with company policies and consumer protection requirements.
- Manage customer repair bookings and coordinate repair operations for mobile phones, tablets, computers and other electronic devices.
- Liaise with repair technicians to monitor repair progress, ensure quality standards and facilitate timely completion of customer repairs.
- Handle complex customer enquiries, complaints, warranty claims and service issues, implementing appropriate resolutions.
- Develop and maintain merchandising standards, promotional displays and marketing initiatives to maximise sales opportunities.
- Monitor market trends, competitor activities and customer demand to identify business growth opportunities.
- Ensure accurate processing of sales transactions, refunds, exchanges and cash handling procedures.
- Maintain records relating to sales, inventory, repairs, warranties and customer service activities.
- Ensure compliance with workplace health and safety, data privacy, security and company operational policies.
- Build and maintain strong customer relationships to enhance customer retention and satisfaction.
Requirements:
Diploma Level 5 or higher or 2 years of experience in admin or sales or any relevant field
