We are looking for a Store Manager to join our team at our Whangarei based grocery supermarket store. As a Store Manager you will handle the Store Operations and play a crucial role in ensuring our customers have an exceptional shopping experience. You will be working independently and organise and control the Store to ensure it is always in a presentable manner.

Location: Whangarei

Job Type: Full time – 30 hours Minimum per week, based on a rotating Roster.

Duration: Permanent

Pay Bracket: Minimum $30.00 per hour and the Employer is willing to go up to $35.00 per hour based on experience.

Responsibilities:

·       Ensure compliance with occupational health and safety regulations

·       Determining product mix, stock levels and service standards

·       Formulating and implementing purchasing and marketing policies, and setting prices of all products

·       Promoting and advertising the establishment's goods and services

·       Selling goods and services to customers and advising them on product use

·       Maintaining records of stock levels and financial transactions

·       Undertaking budgeting for the establishment

·       Controlling selection, training and supervision of staff

We are looking for candidates with the preferred attributes:

·      Able to work a flexible schedule including weekends, and public holidays as per the store timings from Monday to Sunday

·      2 years Relevant Experience / or Relevant Qualification preferred. A bachelor’s degree or higher qualification in any field will be considered relevant, and acceptable for this role.

·      Communication skills and Handling customers professionally

·      Great presentation and Personal Hygiene, and willingness to work in a fast-paced environment.
