About the company A national Engineering consultancy are market leaders in structural engineering and offer clients a wide range of services including new build design, alterations, strengthening and retro fitting buildings. They work on a wide range of projects across New Zealand that include, commercial, industrial, residential and heritage buildings.   The role on offer The Auckland office is looking for a Structural Engineer with design and project ownership experience within industrial units, agricultural and commercial buildings from low level to high rise. You will join a high performing business and will be responsible for outline and detailed newbuild design and seismic assessment (DSA).

Key attributes for this role include:

• A background in structural engineering projects aligned with new build /alterations for commercial, residential and industrial buildings.
• DSA experience
• Familiarity with NZ design codes and best practices
• Experience of working directly with clients/customers
• Working on projects from start to finish and supporting junior staff with technical analysis and guidance.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills and the confidence to help deliver project work and network across the region to support the management team with client development.
