We are seeking an experienced Systems Analyst to join our client growing team. The successful candidate will work closely with business stakeholders, end users, and technical teams to analyse business processes, identify system requirements and develop technology solutions that improve operational efficiency and support business objectives.

Key Responsibilities

  • Consult with business users to identify, analyse, and document business requirements.
  • Evaluate existing information systems and business processes to identify opportunities for improvement.
  • Develop functional and technical specifications for new systems and system enhancements.
  • Analyse business workflows and recommend appropriate technology solutions.
  • Liaise with software developers, project managers, and other stakeholders throughout the system development lifecycle.
  • Prepare process models, data flow diagrams, and system documentation.
  • Participate in system testing, user acceptance testing (UAT), and implementation activities.
  • Identify system issues and recommend corrective actions to improve performance and usability.
  • Support change management initiatives, including user training and documentation.
  • Ensure solutions comply with organisational standards, security requirements, and industry best practices.

Essential Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in information technology (or equivalent) OR  at least 2 years or relevant work experience.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Experience gathering and documenting business and functional requirements.
  • Knowledge of software development methodologies.
  • Experience with business process modelling and systems documentation.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.

Desirable Skills

  • Experience with SQL and database analysis.
  • Knowledge of enterprise applications, APIs, and systems integration.
  • Familiarity with cloud platforms and digital transformation projects.
  • Experience using business analysis tools.
