Suitable for beginning teachers

We seek a collaborative, passionate and enthusiastic teacher of science to join our Science Faculty.

Applicants should have a current New Zealand teacher registration, a current work permit or equivalent and a working knowledge of the New Zealand Curriculum. 

The successful candidate will have: 

  • the ability to teach senior chemistry and/or physics
  • a genuine passion for teaching and a clear understanding of NCEA
  • experience in differentiated teaching at the junior and senior levels
  • ability to be a team player who will work collaboratively to raise student achievement
  • knowledge of the principles of Te Tiriti o Waitangi and ensure te reo me ōna Tikanga are upheld
  • relational practices to tautoko positive relationships within our kura.

    • A commitment to mana ōrite mō te mātauranga Māori, and cultural responsiveness is also essential.
