The key purpose of this role is to provide confidential, efficient and effective
support to the Managers and Teams of this Goverment department so that they, in turn, can perform their role and efficiently use their time and skill.
This role will provide diary and email management, preparation of documents and papers, invoice processing and any other ad hoc tasks to the Managers where required. It will also support the wider team with travel booking, event management, on/off boarding new staff and liasing with procurement, IT and facilities functions.
- Having previously had key relationships with Managers and their Teams the sucessful applicant will have a proven track record in;
Supporting Teams and Managers while responding to changes in priorities.
A wide ranging knowledge of administration systems and processes.
Sound relationship management and interpersonal skills.
A good standard of computer literacy and word processing.
Be an excellent team player
Willingness to work in a flexible and dynamic environment.
This is a 7 month Fixed Term Contract. To apply you must be a New Zealand Citizen or hold a Permanent Resident Visa. Ideally you should already be located in Wellington.
