We are seeking an experienced Technical Manager to lead the technical and quality functions across our Inspection and Certification business, Auditing Solutions and sister company Food and Health Standards. This senior role is pivotal in ensuring compliance with regulatory standards, maintaining accreditation, and driving continuous improvement across multiple sites and teams.

As Technical Manager, you will:

• Oversee and enhance our Quality Management System (QMS) in line with ISO 17020 and other relevant standards.
• Lead technical training, scope extension, and professional development for staff.
• Manage internal audits, external audit readiness (MPI, IANZ), complaints, and corrective actions.
• Develop and deliver new standards, checklists, and risk-based procedures.
• Support operational and strategic initiatives, including client relationships, new business, and representation at industry forums.
• Deliver technical services and verification as required.

• Quality & Compliance: Maintain compliance with all legislation, standards, and accreditation requirements.
• Technical Leadership: Drive competency, training, and innovation within the technical team.
• Operational Support: Contribute to business growth, proposals, and customer relationships.
• Service Delivery: Provide high-quality verification and inspection services when needed.

To succeed in this role, you will bring:

• A Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
• Strong knowledge of ISO 17020, food processing, and regulatory frameworks.
• Proven experience in senior management (minimum 5 years).
• Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• The ability to balance technical expertise with strategic business support.
