Batth Transport Limited is a growing Transport Company based in Taranaki region. With continuous business growth, we are looking for an enthusiastic Transport Manager to work at our New Plymouth location. The role is full time for minimum 32 hours and maximum 40 hours per week. The right candidate will be offered between $35- $38/hour.

Your will be responsible for: 

• Lead our transport team to deliver outstanding service.
• Oversee the management of yard, ensuring the trucks are safe, reliable and compliant.
•   Improve efficiency in routing, scheduling and delivery performance.
•   Ensuring compliance with occupational health and safety regulations.
•   Receiving orders and bookings, and planning and implementing transportation schedules
•   Maintaining business records.
•   Coordinating with drivers for deliveries and setting up drivers’ roaster.
•    Responding to delivery related emails and queries.

What we want you to bring along:

• Sound industry knowledge- at least 2 plus years work experience in the transport industry or a relevant qualification.
• Heavy drivers licence.
• Punctual
• Leadership quality
• Physically Fit
•  Ability to work in under pressure and multitasking.
•  Good communication.
