Job Description

Procure, maintain, and manage fuel supply for transport vehicles and related equipment
Liaise with clients to understand their requirements, provide advice and information on vehicle types, rental rates, associated duties, and resolve any customer concerns
Receive and process customer orders and bookings, as well as plan and implement transportation schedules
Ensure goods are stored and transported in a manner that maintains their quality and compliance with standards
Coordinate the pickup and delivery of both vehicles and goods
Maintain accurate business records and prepare operational summaries and reports
Monitor and ensure adherence to occupational health and safety regulations and guidelines
Manage and oversee the day-to-day operations of a transport business running a fleet of goods-carrying vehicles
Carry out other reasonable duties as requested by the employer

Position Details

Location: Hamilton
Job Type: Full-time, Permanent
Pay Rate: $31.00- 35.00 per hour
Days Required: 5–6 days per week (roster may apply)
Hours Per Week: Minimum 40 hours

Job Requirements

A minimum of 2 years of relevant work experience, or a relevant NZ Level 4 qualification (or equivalent overseas qualification), or a Bachelor degree in any discipline is required.
