The Internal Auditor will be responsible for evaluating the companys financial records, operational processes, and internal control systems. This role plays a crucial part in identifying risks, ensuring compliance with regulations, and improving overall business efficiency. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in auditing, finance, and risk management, with a keen eye for detail and a problem-solving mindset.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct periodic audits of financial transactions, cash flows, and financial reporting to ensure accuracy and integrity.

• Evaluate compliance with tax regulations, accounting standards, and internal financial policies.

• Monitor revenue streams, accounts payable/receivable, and asset management to identify discrepancies.

• Assess operational processes within sales, inventory, procurement, and service departments for efficiency and compliance.

• Identify risks related to fraud, financial misstatements, and operational inefficiencies.

• Recommend improvements to enhance the effectiveness of internal controls and risk management strategies.

• Review inventory management practices to detect shrinkage, theft, or mismanagement.

• Conduct physical verification of stock and fixed assets to match recorded data.

• Ensure vehicle and spare parts stock records are accurate and up to date.

• Develop and refine internal auditing procedures and best practices.

• Provide recommendations for cost-saving measures, process optimization, and operational improvements.

• Ensure compliance with company policies and industry regulations.

• Prepare detailed audit reports outlining findings, risks, and recommendations for management.

• Present audit results to senior management and assist in the implementation of corrective actions.

• Maintain comprehensive audit documentation for reference and regulatory compliance.

Requirements:

• Relevant qualification or training in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.

• Relevant experience in a similar role

• Strong understanding of auditing standards, financial reporting, and risk assessment.

• Exceptional analytical, problem-solving, and attention-to-detail skills.

• Excellent communication and report-writing abilities.
