We have an opportunity for an experienced portfolio, programme, or project delivery manager to join us as an Investment Portfolio Manager, based in Auckland. This is an exciting opportunity to be part of our new Strategic Execution and Change tīma (team), where you will have visibility of priorities across the enterprise and the ability to mahi with people across the organisation. Our tīma supports the multi-year strategic roadmap by bringing to life the underlying programmes that transform our strategy into impactful and practical outcomes. To enable this, we partner with teams across the enterprise to lead investment planning, governance, and delivery monitoring of enterprise programmes to ensure delivery of promised benefits in support of BNZs strategic ambition. Mō te Tūranga | About the Role We sat down with our GM Strategic Execution & Change, and they let us know the following about the tūranga (role). What are some of the day to day tasks the person in this tūranga will complete? This tūranga will flex and mahi (work) on a variety of things like preparing updates for our Executive tīma providing them with visibility to investment slate milestones, leading programme retrospective processes, evaluating and tracking changes in our Investment Slate, mapping customer outcomes to the slate, and tracking benefits and other KPIs to ensure we deliver outcomes for our customers as expected. What is the tīma culture and environment like? Our current tīma describes our culture as supportive, creative, inclusive, engaging, high functioning, highly driven and respectful. The candidate for this tūranga will have a passion for finding efficiencies and building quality relationships. This person will quickly pick up BAU activities while partnering with others in the tīma and across the organisation to deliver the broader BNZ enterprise strategy. What specific skills are required to be successful? We are looking for someone who ideally has prior programme or project delivery experience / portfolio management experience. This would include experience supporting full investment cycle inclusive of road mapping and strategic alignment, annual or rolling wave planning, portfolio execution and delivery, benefits and cost management, programme closure and closing out any feedback loops.
