Come join our Customer Protection team and contribute

Identify and manage fraud incidents.to lessening the impact of financial crime for Kiwibank and our customers. As an External Fraud Investigator, you will:

• Monitor suspicious activity for customer cards and internet banking using specific fraud detection tools and outbound calling.
• Liaise with other banks and financial institutions on suspicious or high-risk activity.
• Investigate fraudulent activity for customer cards.
• Decide if fraud has occurred and provide resolutions and next steps.

At Kiwibank, we will help you build on your strengths and learn new skills, but in the meantime, we would love to hear from you if you have some of the following:

• Previous experience in fraud investigations and prevention or operational banking experience is preferred.
• Self-initiative to find solutions and confident with decision-making.
• Ability to plan and prioritise to meet deadlines and great attention to detail.
• Confident and capable in relaying information both verbally and in writing.
• Good working knowledge of Excel and SQL and an understanding of PRM or other fraud detection system.
