Mō te tūranga | About the Role

In this role, youll work alongside another Support Worker to provide care and support to six individuals in their 50s at Bev Morrisey Service, located at the main Hōhepa Campus.

Bev Morrisey is a bustling service where each person has an individual support plan and diverse interests. Our people enjoy activities like going to the library, having coffee at cafes, swimming, and engaging in arts and crafts.

Additionally, our people have a wide range of interests, including rock ‘n roll music, attending Hōhepa community events, and even going to the circus!

You will be energetic, empathetic and able to work alongside this person focussing on creating a life of rich and diverse experiences while being able to read situations, problem solve and apply boundaries or offer space.

Daily tasks include supporting with daily routines while encouraging independence to develop skills and personal growth. You will have the confidence to support personal cares, cooking, medication administration, and household tasks. You will be passionate about supporting and extending peoples ability to access and be part of their wider community. If you are looking for a new challenge this could be the opportunity for you.

This positions salary scale is set by pay equity and dependant on qualification level, pays between $23.50 and $28.25 per hour.

• Sunday to Wednesday 7am to 3pm
