We are looking for an enthusiastic team player to join the Taranaki team- this is a great full time permanent opportunity for anyone willing to learn.

A bit about the role:

As a Greenspace Operator, you will:

• Need to plan / manage / undertake mowing and maintenance of turf on designated sites and reserves to contract specification and or instruction.
• Need to ensure that high quality, timely and planned service is delivered within the required timeframes.
Also, ensure a high level of safety is adhered to in order to protect the public, other team members, and yourself.

Nga pūkenga matua | Important Skills

We are looking for a self motivated team member who has:

• Full Class 1 Drivers license required, Class 2 and above would be a high advantage
• Experience in operating Large Tractors would be highly regarded
• Experience in Upfront / Ride-on Mowing or Park Maintenance would be desirable, but full training can be provided for the right candidate
• Familiar with electronic data entry or computer experience an advantage
• Self-motivated and ability to work in a team
• Great communication skills and ability of dealing with customers
