Te Whiwhinga mahi | The opportunity

The ITS Specialist will assist with the planning, delivery and monitoring of Intelligent Transport System (ITS) initiatives which support the delivery of a safe, sustainable and integrated traffic and transportation network in alignment with the required traffic standards and bylaws to achieve optimal network performance.

You will collaborate with key internal and external stakeholders to be an enabler of ITS Technology and exceptional customer experience. You will drive transport outcomes supporting the Auckland Transport (AT) strategic objectives of delivering safety and customer centricity in our services.

Nā tāu rourou | What will you bring?

You will be passionate about innovation and have exposure or an interest Intelligent Transport Systems (ITS) with strong stakeholder engagement skills.

• 5-7 years experience innovation and/ or transport Intelligent Transport Systems.
• Proven practical experience in aspects of Intelligent Transport Systems related to traffic and transport engineering including analysis, investigation, planning and delivery.
• Experience in use of Microsoft Office applications, particularly Word, PowerPoint, Excel Outlook and Sharepoint
• Experience at research, leading POC/MVP initiatives
• Experience in analysis of inputs/requirements
• Experience in analysis of results
