• We are looking for a driven individual to step into the exciting and challenging role of Senior/Principal Structural engineer in our Dunedin office. Opportunity to expand position to include Team Leader role if desired.

About you:

Youll be a CPEng Chartered structural engineer with at least 10 years professional experience in the consulting industry including multi-disciplinary design projects. Youll have experience in water and/or transportation infrastructure projects, ideally including industrial/utility buildings or pump station buildings and water retention structures, or a good understanding of transportation infrastructure projects.

The role in a snapshot will encompass the following

• Planning, management and delivery of detailed structural designs, including senior checks and reviews, across a variety of transportation and water related infrastructure projects.
• Technical advice and leadership across the Structural Discipline
• Project leadership including design and construct project delivery methods
• Technical report writing, including ability to carry out structural assessments, inspections, risk assessment and asset management plans
• Construction supervision support as required
• Working closely with project teams and project managers to ensure timely and cost-efficient delivery
• Mentoring and development of junior team members
