Mō te tūranga | About the Role This is a Programme Manager role that will lead delivery of our IBB Growth Programme which includes our commercial cards, conditional limit offers and digital wallets.
  • Programme Planning and Execution. Managing complex enterprise-wide programmes and initiatives within agreed scope, time, cost and quality from initial identification, refinement of the requirements, scope and solution design, to delivery of change and embedding in the business and IT ensuring alignment with wider delivery plans and priorities.
  • Delivery Framework and Governance. Ensuring programme adheres to all internal policies and standards, reporting meets Transformation Office requirements and maintaining compliant initiative governance and reporting management.
  • Advanced Stakeholder Communication and Engagement capability. Working with internal business and project stakeholders, vendors and third parties to ensure successful delivery of programme and ensure open and frequent lines of visibility to stakeholders and senior management.
  • Resource Management. Ensuring the programme is resourced correctly, sponsors are engaged and aware of progress and all risks to delivery are identified and managed.
  • Risk and Issue Management. Identify, assess and mitigate project risks and issues to minimise impact on programme delivery and outcomes. Develop risk management strategies and monitor and escalate to stakeholders as necessary.
  • Financial Management. Manage programme budget and forecasting and ensure financial accountability and transparency.
  • Guide and mentor Delivery Leads, Programme Coordinators and specialised project resource through the project lifecycle.

  • High level view of regulatory and enterprise wide change internally and within the financial services industry
Desirable
  • Relevant business, functional and/or technical domain knowledge and experience for the area to which the Delivery Lead role is for.
  • Understanding of financial services as well as compliance obligations of registered banks in New Zealand
  • Experience managing vendors and professional service contracts and arrangements
  • Jira and Confluence management skills
