Customer Service Representative
We are currently seeking a reliable and motivated individual to join our team as a Customer Services Representative in Queenstown, New Zealand. This is a full time role of 40 hours per week. Salary of between $25 to $30 per hour depending on skill set and experience.
We are seeking a friendly, detail-oriented, and proactive Customer Service Representative to join our growing team. As the first point of contact for customers, you will play a vital role in ensuring a positive experience by addressing inquiries, resolving issues, and providing updates related to parcel deliveries and logistics services.
Responsibilities:
- Respond to customer inquiries via phone, email, and live chat in a professional and timely manner.
- Track shipments and provide delivery updates or issue resolutions.
- Assist with booking courier pickups and processing shipping requests.
- Handle customer complaints and escalate issues as needed to the appropriate departments.
- Maintain accurate records of customer interactions and transactions in the system.
- Collaborate with operations and dispatch teams to ensure timely and effective service.
- Provide product and service information to current and potential customers.
- Identify and suggest process improvements to enhance the customer experience.
Requirements:
- Minimum previous experience in customer service within the logistics, courier, postal or transportation industry of 2 or more years is required.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to plan and prioritize deliveries effectively.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision, while also being a team player.
- Good customer service skills with a friendly and professional demeanor.
- Attention to detail and accuracy in record-keeping.
- Familiarity with GPS navigation systems and mobile communication devices.
