EVENT MANAGER
Due to the growth and development of our business, we are looking for an Event Manager to design, organise and coordinate services for conferences, events, functions, banquets and seminars.

Kiki Event is a local-based company that specialises in designing and organising birthday parties and family events. We also organise and plan events for businesses and individuals in the Auckland Region. Our services include corporate annual functions, holiday celebrations, wedding planning, etc. Due to the growth and development of our business, we are looking for an Event Manager to design, organise and coordinate services for conferences, events, functions, banquets and seminars.

- Work Hours: 35-40 hours/week
- Salary/Wage: $32.00 - $34.00
Key Responsibilities:
- Meeting and Consultation with clients for their needs, preference and budgets, and providing them with the options and quotations of the event.
- Based on clients budgets and needs, provide clients with tailored services, including event arrangements, timelines, cost, equipment hire, catering, and logistics and etc.
- Arrange, coordinate and oversee event setup and execution on-site, to ensure smooth delivery and troubleshoot any issues as they arise; develop contingency plans for unexpected events.
- Contact public authorities/contractors for site/venue bookings, registration, traffic control, etc.
- Organise and liaise with various contractors
- Hires, trains and supervises temporary staff required for events.
- Participate in media and marketing initiatives to promote our services across multiple channels.
- Develop new clients and maintain strong relationships with existing ones; gather feedbacks from clients and attendees, and identify areas for improvement.
- Ensure a safe environment for participants, minimising risks, complying with local regulations and implementing control measures.
Skills & Experience Required:
- NZQF Diploma (Level 5 or above) in Business or Management
- Strong customer service skills and the ability to build and maintain long-term partnerships with clients
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, both written and spoken
- Familiar with relevant regulations and popular types of stream media
- Excellent organisational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work efficiently under pressure
- Strong data analysis and budgeting skills
- Relevant local experience is preferred
- Proven experience in planning and executing large-scale events (100+ attendees) is preferred
