We are a hair salon offers unique blend of professional styling and relaxing atmosphere. Located in Christchurch, our team stay ahead of the latest trends to deliver exceptional hair care. We are currently seeking for two Permanent full-time Hairdresser to join our team, with a minimum 30 hours/week, Monday to Sunday.

Key Duties and Responsibilities:

• Offer expert advice on suitable hairstyles, hair care, and beauty products tailored for customers.
• Provide professional hair care services, including shampooing, cutting, and conditioning hair.
• Perform chemical treatments such as hair coloring, straightening, and perming.
• Cut, trim, and style hair using scissors, razors, and clippers to create desired looks.
• Create customer hairstyles like braids, dreadlocks, and apply hair extensions to achieve a seamless, natural appearance.
• Trim, shape, and maintain beards and mustaches according to customer preferences.
• Ensure cleanliness and hygiene by sanitizing work areas, tools, and equipment after each use.
• Manage customer appointments, ensuring timely scheduling, and handle payments while maintaining customer records.
• Clean, color, cut, and style wigs and hairpieces as instructed.
• Follow establish safety rules and maintain a safe and clean environment.

Requirements:

• Experience: a minimum three years relevant work experience.
• Skills: strong communication abilities, a caring and responsible attitude, punctuality, and a professional approach to customer service are essential.
• No drug/conviction history.
