Shop Assistant

We have an opportunity for 1x Shop Assistant position in our Grocery Store based in Rahotu. We are looking for candidates who are confident, responsible, and pay attention to details. This role requires you to be flexible with working hours, which include weekends, public holidays, and break shifts.

Key responsibilities:

• Receiving and distributing goods to the right departments.

• Check for damaged and expired goods and report.

• Store Opening and Closing.

• Cashing up tills and filing up necessary paperwork to report.

• Provide outstanding customer service and build trust and loyalty.

• Ensure the displays/shelves are appropriately stocked.

• Processing payments and keeping up to date with daily tasks, including general cleanliness and presentation of the store.

• Maintaining high store performance.

• Excellent Interpersonal and teamwork attitude.

• A proactive approach, motivation to achieve and improve continuously.

• Clean criminal record and zero tolerance for drugs at the workplace.

Hourly rate- $22.70 - $29.90 depending upon experience and suitability.

Number of positions- 1

Minimum Hours of Work- 30 hours/week

Location- 5794 South Road, Rahotu, South Taranaki

Eligibility:

Experience in retail or customer service environment is preferred but not mandatory. Full training will be provided to the right candidate.
