Tattoo Artist

Essential Requirements:

• Must have the legal right to work permanently in New Zealand.
• Hold a current and up-to-date Health Protection Licence.
• Available to work a minimum of 35 hours per week.

Key Responsibilities:

• Create permanent and temporary tattoo designs using various tattooing techniques.
• Handle and maintain sharp specialist tools and contaminated materials safely.
• Prepare workstations before procedures and thoroughly clean them afterward.
• Design customized tattoos based on client requests.
• Manage own bookings and assist in managing colleagues bookings when required.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the shop, ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations.
• Deliver exceptional customer service, including providing aftercare advice.
• Process payments, issue gift vouchers, and handle customer feedback professionally.
• Assist in opening and closing the shop, as well as supervising when required.
• Collaborate with management to promote and market the business effectively.
