Warehouse Team Leader

Days and hours: Minimum 42.5 hours per week

Key Responsibilities

• Coordinate planning for Inbound activities, priorities, and people requirements, via weekly briefings and daily updates.

• Plan the inwards flow with the Supply Chain team and Internal Sales.

• Prepare document folders for expected deliveries.

• Engage in capacity and longer-term planning discussions.

• Ensure outward goods operates in line with business targets and expectations.

• Assess the likely freight loads and advise carriers (rolling 2- day horizon)

• Ensure Documentation is complete and accurate to accompany the freight (incl. weights, measures, DG or special requirements) and that all appropriate labelling is securely attached.

• Load Out as per the Load Plan and despatch plan to ensure the higher level of DIFOT is achieved.

Key Requirements

• High level expertise (2 years min.) in the civil pipeline industry

• Skills and experience in assembling information, planning, and communicating the plan and expected outcomes.

• Experience in sales and product management

• Ideally have event/project organisational experience

• Ability to prioritize and allocate resources depending on requirements for the business, customers, or team.

• Good written and verbal communications skills, takes initiative to pass on information, and actively listens to others.

• Flexible, reliable and team focused. Communicates effectively and operates in a respectful and supportive manner. Shares openly and

• willingly and is an active participant.

You must:

• Have at least 2 contactable references

• Ability to pass a pre-employment alcohol and drug screen test

• Return a clear or satisfactory police report

One permanent vacancy based at our Onehunga site with a minimum of 42.5 hours per week. This position provides a competitive remuneration package with a wage range of $35.29 - $37.78 per hour, health insurance and full PPE.
