We are seeking a motivated, experienced, and friendly Orchard Leading Hand to be part of a hardworking and supportive team based in Tauranga.
You will be working 30 hours a week from Monday to Sunday.
The primary focus of this role will be to assist with the daily operations on the kiwi orchard.
You will be involved in key production tasks such as canopy management, harvesting, pruning, thinning, pest and disease monitoring, weed control, crop monitoring and estimation work, water monitoring & staff management along with other general duties as and when required.
Machinery operation work may also be required to assist with machinery tasks at key times.
This role also will be responsible for maintaining all working machinery in good condition.
You will need to have excellent time management skills, adapts well to change, must have great people skills to manage the team successfully and have a "can do" attitude, hardworking with a sense of humour.
