This is a rare opportunity to join Endura Mining at a foundational stage and help shape its future from the ground up. With active site operations in New Zealand and a growing Sydney based corporate team, we are entering an exciting phase of rapid growth and transformation.
With production targeted within the next 12 to 18 months, our strategy is to grow into a multi asset business operating 3 to 5 gold and copper projects. The stage is set for you to be part of this journey from the very beginning, where your impact will directly influence how we scale and succeed.
We need a Talent Acquisition Business Partner to join our team on a 6month fixed term basis. Responsible for end-to-end recruitment across our mining site, while also helping design and embed scalable recruitment systems and processes. This is a hands‑on role suited to someone who thrives in a high‑growth environment and enjoys building as well as delivering.
As our Talent Acquisition Business Partner, you are responsible for: End-to-End Recruitment
- Lead full lifecycle recruitment across mining, operations, trades, technical and corporate roles
- Partner closely with site leaders to understand workforce needs, rosters and operational constraints
- Proactively source candidates for hard-to-fill blue-collar and regional roles
- Manage recruitment campaigns for volume hiring when required
- Coordinate interviews, site assessments, medicals, background checks and offers
- Deliver a strong candidate experience aligned to Endura’s values
Site Engagement
- Build trusted relationships with site leadership and frontline teams
- Regularly visit mine sites to support hiring, understand roles and represent Endura’s employer brand
- Support workforce planning discussions with operational leaders
Systems and Process Build
- Help design and implement recruitment systems, tools and workflows suitable for a startup environment
- Develop practical recruitment processes, templates and hiring guidelines
- Support selection and rollout of an ATS or recruitment technology
- Ensure recruitment processes are compliant with legislation, awards and site requirements
Employer Brand
- Support development of Endura’s employer value proposition for blue-collar and corporate talent
- Build relationships with labour hire partners, agencies, training providers and local communities
- Represent Endura at careers events and industry forums where required
- Track recruitment metrics including time to hire, quality of hire and pipeline health
- Identify opportunities to improve speed, quality and consistency of hiring
- Contribute to broader People and Culture initiatives as the function grows
About You:
- Proven experience as a Talent Acquisition Partner or Recruiter in mining, resources, construction and/or blue-collar environments is essential.
- Strong experience recruiting operational, trade or site-based roles
- Experience working in a startup, scale-up or greenfield environment
- Exposure to building or improving recruitment systems and processes
