Our client is one of New Zealand’s leading Heavy Machinery Installation companies, based in Auckland seeking a skilled Rigger role. This is a permanent full-time time position, working a minimum of 40 hours per week.
Responsibilities and Accountabilities -:
-Experience in installation and assemble equipment/heavy machines particularly in heavy overweight operations.
-Rigging and operational experience with heavy jacking and hydraulic equipment, especially Hydraulic Gantry Lifting Systems, is critical in this role.
-Direct crane or hoist operators during lifting, positioning, and alignment of metal components.
-Inspect and maintain rigging equipment, lifting devices, and safety harness systems.
-Check completed installations for alignment, stability, and compliance with site safety standards
-Class 5 truck and trailer duties as and when required
The position requires the following:
- At least 3 years of Rigging experience and relevant certification as a Rigger
- Class 5 licence or equivalent
- Physically fit and healthy
- Hard working and reliable
- Can demonstrate safe road practices
- A team player and must not have previous criminal conviction.
- Ability to travel and work out of town for lengthy periods as required.
- Overseas applications will be considered for this role.
