Mangat Limited is looking for three Cafe Assistants to join our team. This is a hands on role where no two days are the same, you’ll be supporting daily café operations, delivering excellent customer service, and helping maintain a clean and positive environment.

• Position: Café Assistant
• Pay Rate: $25 - $30
• Minimum Weekly Hours: 30
• Maximum Weekly Hours: 55
• Location: Waikato

Key Responsibilities:

• Greet customers and provide friendly, efficient service
• Take orders and handle payments
• Prepare and serve cabinet food, drinks, and basic coffee (training provided if needed)
• Assist baristas and kitchen staff.
• Maintain cleanliness and hygiene standards in food preparation and service areas.
• Keep the café clean, tidy, and well-presented at all times
• Restock supplies and monitor stock levels
• Follow food safety and hygiene standards
• Assist with storing food items properly and monitoring stock levels.
• Support daily kitchen and bakery operations during busy periods.
• Work collaboratively with the team to ensure smooth daily operations Maintain a clean, organised, and hazard-free working environment

Requirements:

• 1 year’ experience OR any Level 3 qualification
• Positive attitude and strong work ethic
• Great communication and people skills
• Reliable, punctual, and well-presented
• Available on weekends
