Duties and responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following:
Planning menus and estimating food and labour costs
Prepare, cook, and present food according to recipes and standards
Manage a designated section of the kitchen
Demonstrate techniques and advise on cooking procedures
Supervise junior kitchen staff and assist with training
Maintain cleanliness and follow food safety and hygiene standards
Assist with stock control and reduce food waste
Support the Head Chef in daily kitchen operations
